The “MONITORING. Science and Safety” is a periodical with a focus on a system analysis of challenges in the area of monitoring. The purpose of this magazine is to provide information about domestic and international scientific knowledge and know-how, to exchange opinions, to keep track of tendencies and achievements in specific areas related to ensuring comprehensive safety.
The magazine is intended for specialists of various companies involved in automation, design, production and sales of monitoring systems and facilities, as well as for design and research organizations of the Emercom of Russia and the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor).
The magazine is a quarterly periodical. It provides scientific articles, reviews, practical recommendations of the leading organizations. Besides, it covers such issues as various methods of project implementation, key focus areas and prospects for the development and implementation of monitoring systems both in Russia and globally.
The magazine is published with the support of the Union of expert organizations providing expert review services related to the protection of population and territories against emergencies and ensuring industrial, fire and environmental safety, and the “Science and Safety” informational web portal.
The “BOSS-Referent” system, developed by BOSS-Referent Company, is intended for automation of managerial document flow control and record management. Created in 1996, BOSS-Referent Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) is now one of the leading ECM solutions (Enterprise Content Management) on the Russian Market. 25 % of all workstations installed in 2008 (i.e. every fourth workstation) is realized on the BOSS-Referent System (according to the EDMS market review data provided by DSS Consulting).
