On November 02-06, 2009, Scientific and Industrial Association “RISCOM” held the conference in “Monitoring and risk management in industry. Problems of diagnostics and non-destructive inspection”. Representative of OOO WELD – Director for Industrial Safety S.A. Matveyushkin – made a report on “Longevity of steel engineering structures”.

Main topics of the conference held in KOSC “Lipki” were:
• Self-regulation in the field of industrial safety expertise.
• Management and monitoring of industrial risks at hazardous facilities.
• Technical audit, evaluation of technical condition and forecasting of resources of industrial systems of any degree of complexity.
• Non-destructive inspection, technical diagnostics, and monitoring of condition of facilities with risk evaluation.
• Risk management according to the data of monitoring.
• Training and certification of specialists in risk evaluation and technical diagnostics.

The purposes of the conference were the following:
• Creation of normative and technical documentation in the area of industrial safety meeting the requirements of modern international and domestic legislation.
• Organization of interaction of industrial enterprises, expert, diagnostic, research and educational organizations working in the field of industrial safety of hazardous facilities.
• Further development and implementation of modern methods, systems and means of non-destructive monitoring and technical diagnostics, complex safety systems.

On September 15, the Company WELD announced a photo award. Themes were many. Today, results were summed up. 26 employees of the Company took part in the competition. 586 images were presented to the jury, and each of them had a chance to be the best. The photos were distributed into several nominations. Long wait, keen interest, stormy discussions! And now, at last, the results of the award are summed up! All the winners received deserved prizes.

2. The best photo in the nomination “Work Routine” is the shot “Brothers at Work”. Author: Smirnyagina Tatyana Aleksandrovna
3. The best photo in the nomination “Varia” is the shot of Bortnikov Vyacheslav Gennadyevich “The First Hydro Power Plant in Russia”
4. The best photo in the nomination “Homor” is “But I can hear well”. The author of the shot is Nisheta Andrey Sergeyevich
5. The best photo in the nomination “Child’s World” is the shot of Leonov Dmitry Mikhailovich “You see, Kitty, what dog’s life I have”. This photo was also recognized the best among all the photos put up for the competition.
 

The Company WELD received a new license for expert examination of industrial safety of buildings and facilities, at petrochemical and oil-processing objects No.ДЭ-00-010880 (Н) dd. 30.10.2009.

"WELD" Company took part in the exhibition of III International Forum of architecture, construction, cities reconstruction, and constructional technologies and materials "City Build – 2009". On October, 19-22, 2009 in Moscow, in a new pavilion of the All-Russia Exhibition Center №75, according to the exhibition plan of the Moscow Government III International Forum of architecture, construction, cities reconstruction, and constructional technologies and materials "City Build – 2009" was held. The Forum was organized by "GLOBAL EXPO" Company. The Ministry for Regional Development of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow supported the event. Co-organizers of the Forum were 20 specialized associations and construction companies.

III International Forum "City Build – 2009" gathered twelve independent and, at the same time, complementary exhibitions and expositions.

Specialized exhibitions were held:
1. Underground city;
2. InTehGeoStroy;
3. Garage and parking;
4. Energy supply and energy efficiency of cities;
5. Russian Cities: achievements in construction industry;
6. Architecture, designing and reconstruction;
7. High-rise construction;

11. Complex automation and safety of buildings and structures;
12. Metal construction;
13. Constructional technologies and materials.

Within the exhibition a number of round-table conferences were held. The following subjects were discussed:

• Underground city (on October, 20-21 – International scientific and technical conference "Modern mechanization of works in tunnels construction and development of cities underground space");
• High-rise construction (on October, 20th – International scientific and practical conference "High-rise construction");
• Automation and safety of buildings (on October, 20th – International scientific and practical conference "Modernization of complex automation, safety and fire-prevention protection of objects in construction. Perfection of self-regulating organizations work");
• City utility systems (on October, 20th – Conference "Technical safety of energy supply systems");
• Russian Cities: achievements in construction industry (on October, 20th – Round-table conference "Development of Russian region through investing production of constructional materials");
• DorMostExpo (on October, 21st – International conference "Innovations in bridge construction");
• Metal construction (on October, 21st – International conference "Current questions of application of light-gauge constructions in building").

As we have already informed earlier as moderators of the section "Safety in construction" within the round-table conference "Automation and safety of buildings" were the president of Association "ASKOM" Albert N.Marshev and the president of Holding company "WELD" Konstantin I. Eryomin.

A round-table conference "Automatization and buildings safety. Safety in construction" within the exhibition "City Build – 2009" was held. It was organized by Department of city building of Moscow, Association of Russian builders, Association "ASKOM", Holding company "WELD" and the World academy of sciences for complex safety (VANKB).

Round-table conference contained several sections. As moderators of the round-table conference "Safety in construction" were the president of Association "ASKOM" Albert N. Marshev and the president of Holding company "WELD" Konstantin I. Eryomin. The director of Industrial safety department of Holding company "WELD" Sergey A. Matveyushkin, PhD in Technical Sciences presented a paper "Problems of forecasting of buildings and structures constructions technical state". The report of the president of Holding company "WELD" Konstantin I. Eryomin was presented by the director of Energy department of Holding company "WELD" Galina A. Pavlova, PhD in Technical Sciences. The reports arose a keen interest of the attendees. Besides there were other exciting reports presented.

Additionally there were other round tables within the exhibition.
