On October 20, 2010, in the conference hall of Headquarters of All-Russian Exhibition Center a workshop “Extension of lifetime of amusement and entertainment facilities” was held in the framework of exhibition “RAPPA Autumn – 2010” (October 20 – 22, 2010).
M.V. Nashchekin, Candidate of Engineering, Director for Technical Expertise of WELD LLC presented his report on “Evaluation of residual life of steel structures”.
On September 24, 2010, in Moscow, the First Meeting of suppliers and contractors of ТНК-BP that was regarded as a platform for direct dialogue between ТНК-BP and its contractors. In the framework of the Meeting, they discussed cooperation initiatives of ТНК-ВР enterprises and their suppliers and contractors; Corporate and Regional Boards for cooperation with contractors gave detailed explanation of their activities. Ca. 300 ТНК-BP contractors took part in the Meeting, as well as the specialists of the Corporate Center and Management of ТНК-ВР. WELD LLC was represented by Deputy Director of its branch office in Moscow Eryomina E.K.
Delegates at the Meeting heard the reports of Executive Director of ТНК-ВР Management German Khan, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of ТНК-ВР Maxim Barskiy, Executive Vice President for
Business Support Anatoly Tyomkin, Executive Vice President for Upstream Sergey Brezitsky and other Managers of ТНК-ВР.

From October 20 to October 22, 2010, in Krasnodar, in modern specialized exhibition complex KrasnodarEXPO, the Forum for Development of Infrastructure in the South of Russia GOE8 2010 will be held. The Forum is officially supported by Plenipotentiary Representative of the President for the South Federal District, Ministry of Regional Development, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technical, and Atomic Supervision (Rostekhnadzor), Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage (Rosprirodnadzor), Gazprom, IDGC, Yugvodokanal, Builders Association of Russia, Builders (Employers) Association of Kuban, Administration of Krasnodar Region (including its branch departments, etc. (totally over thirty branch ministries and organizations).
The forum includes five special exhibitions:

In the framework of International Specialized Exhibition “Security, Safety and Fire Safety SIPS-2010» (ITE LLC Moscow?) there will be held the 2nd National Congress “Integrated Safety and Security of Facilities Constructed for the Olympic Games 2014”.
The Heads of Builders Association of Russia, Association of Design Organizations of Russia and ASI RO Stroyizyskaniya decided to act as co-organizers of the said events.

3. Visiting of construction infrastructure facilities for the Olympic Games 2014 - October 22, 2010.

We would like to remind you that on December 1 and December 2 the next scheduled (now the 5th) International Conference “Prevention of Breakdowns of Buildings and Facilities” will be held in Moscow, in Izmailovo hotel complex. The Conference is organized by WELD holding company, Scientific and Industrial Association “Risk Management, Industrial Safety, Control and Monitoring” (RISCOM) together with Russian Society for Nondestructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics (RSNTTD). It will be supported by Moscow State Construction University and Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAASN).
Leading scientists, directors and specialists of industrial enterprises, design institutes, representatives of expert organizations, state bodies and bodies of Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technical, and Atomic Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) will take part in the Conference.
At the Conference, the following fundamental and application issues will be considered:
- The matters of industrial safety in the course of designing, construction and operation of high-risk buildings and facilities;

In June and July 2010, in the framework of All-Russia Charity Campaign “Debt of Memory”, General Headquarters of Internal Troops of Ministry of the Interior of Russia and Privolzhsky Internal Troops District Assistance Fund organized summer recreation for children of military personnel killed in the line of duty.
By Order of Commander-In-Chief of the internal troops of Ministry of the Interior of Russia, Director General of WELD LLC was awarded a certificate of honor for assistance to the Internal Troops of Ministry of the Interior of Russia in performance of their tasks.
