Annual International Award “The Best Company of the Year – 2011” »WELD LLC and its Director General were included in the national list of nominees for the Annual International Award “The Best Company of the Year – 2011”. The Organization Committee of the Award heartily congratulates Mr. K.I. Eryomin and the personnel of the Company on the inclusion in the list of nominees for the Annual International Award “The Best Company of the Year – 2011” and awarding of honorary degree ”Socially Responsible Enterprise”. The awarding ceremony and reception in honor of the laureates will take place on May 19, 2011 in President-Hotel complex of Department of the Presidential Affairs (Moscow), at 7:00 PM. The ceremony will be attended by State Duma deputies, representatives of federal authorities and mass media. There will be the stars of Russian show business taking part in the reception and in the concert. Annual International Award “The Best Company of the Year” was established on the initiative of State Duma deputies by the Entrepreneurship Promotion Fund and is held with the support of the State Duma of the RF, the Federation Council of the RF, the Accounts Chamber of the RF, the Ministry of Economic Development of the RF, the Council of Ministers of the union state of Belarus and Russia, Moscow City Duma, the National Taxpayers’ Union, Association of regional banks of Russia, and International Business Leaders Club (Switzerland) .

The 10th International Exhibition and Conference “NDT RUSSIA – NON-DESTRUCTIVE MONITORING AND TECHNICAL DIAGNOSTICS IN INDUSTRY” On March 22-24, the 10th International Exhibition and Conference “NDT RUSSIA - NON-DESTRUCTIVE MONITORING AND TECHNICAL DIAGNOSTICS IN INDUSTRY” was held in Moscow, in the territory of Sports Complex “Olimpiisky”. Main topics of the exhibition: • Industrial diagnostics • Environmental diagnostics • Laboratory testing • Anti-terrorist diagnostics Among the more than 40 companies that took part in the exhibition were: Pergam-Engineering, PG Mega Engineering, TSNK Laboratory, Kropus, Melitech, Helling, Sinercon, Flir Commercial Systems BV, Panatest NDT, Olympus, Interunis, Intron plus, Azimuth - Fotonix, etc. In the framework of this event, our Company met with INTRON PLUS, LLC to discuss our cooperation outlooks. Annual exhibition NDT Russia is held with the official support of state authorities and specialized associations: Federal service for Environmental, Technologic, and Atomic Supervision, Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology, International Committee for Non-destructive Testing, European Federation for Non-destructive Testing, Russian Association for Non-destructive Testing and Technical Diagnostics (RONKTD), and Department for Science and Industrial Policy of Moscow. WELD LLC was represented at the meeting by Chief of Department for Technical Diagnostics T.A. Smirnyagina. We received a proposal concerning organization of joint activities, possibility of establishing of a diagnostic center for testing of steel ropes at various facilities, rubber rope belts, steel tanks and vessels, and pipelines.

Winter Sports CompetitionsOn March 25, in the territory of Abzakovo Ski Center (Republic of Bashkortostan) we held winter sports competitions among WELD employees. The competitions were held in two sports: downhill skiing and snowboard. Only six persons took part in the mountain ski competitions; snowboard fans were even two people less. Actually much more people wanted to take part in the event, but considering that it took place on a working day, it is quite clear that many employees of the Company could not leave their workplaces. During the time of the competition, the weather changed many times. Sometimes the sun was shining brightly; sometimes there was a strong wind, or heavy snow. Unluckily, only few employees came to the skiing center (which is 60 km from Magnitogorsk) but this did not prevent the true fans of this sport from enjoying this positive experience and sharing it with others. As the participants said, the course was easy and not dangerous. It was not the first time that such competition was held by the Company. Downhill ski competitions among the colleagues have become traditional and are held every year. Such events are of importance not only for the health of employees, but also for the corporate spirit of the Company. Lately, that is on February 27 of this year a billiard tournament was held in the health and recreation complex “Green Square” (Magnitogorsk), in honor of Defender of the Motherland Day.

Supervisory AuditWELD LLC has successfully passed its first supervisory audit. The audit was carried out from 23.03.2011 to 25.03.2011by TUV Rheinland Group, one of the five major international companies attested for ISO certification of quality management. The audit confirmed that the quality management system of our company complies with the international quality management standard ISO 9001-2008 accepted in more than 190 countries of the world as their national standard. Confirmed compliance of WELD LLC with this standard shows that we are able to maintain stable quality and enhance our efficiency.
